Clement Faugier Produced For Gourmanity Chestnut Jam Pouch (1.65 lb)

I was raised by my immigrant grandparents to love chestnuts and to know that Clement Faugier chestnut products were excellent. They've often been hard to find and expensive, though, and since I now cook mostly only for me, opening a whole can usually isn't very practical. I was delighted to come across this reclosable pouch, that will keep long enough in the fridge to make it reasonable for me, and at a good price! If you are not familiar, look to British recipes for use of sweetened chestnut spread, especially with chocolate. Or just spread it on toast!

The only place Im able to find chestnut crme or pure for my cookingcooking. And, its one of my favorite ingredients.

I was going to get jarred chestnuts from my local supermarket but none of them were from France. I decided to take a quick look on here and came across these. I used them in my Thanksgiving stuffing and they were amazing. They were so good that I bought another jar. It is a bit of a tedious process to roast your own so to be able to get chestnuts as good as these is great.
