This board was thicker than expected and of great quality for the price. Easy to clean and maintain.

Overall, this is an awesome cutting board. . . it's a nice looking bamboo board that works well. . . I love that it has the ridge around the edge that catches any juices or other errant items that might otherwise run off onto your noncutting surface, so that's awesome.The one concern I have (and only time will tell) is that since the board is clearly several pieces of bamboo pressed together lengthwise (which is expected considering how thin bamboo shoots are), so I have concerns about the adhesive (or whatever they use to make it all stick together) used. . . Mainly that after some heat and water used to clean (and given then nature of bamboo) it, it could warp or bend. . . Only time will tell, so just keep an eye on that, and maybe don't put it in the dishwasher or anything.but, I think it will last long enough to be considered to have gotten your money's worth!

This cutting board is pretty nice! I like that its made of bamboo, which is supposed to be more sustainable than some of the hardwood cutting board options. It has a channel around the outer perimeter to catch any drippings too.It is bigger than any of my other cutting boards. If youre like me and like to put your cutting board in the dishwasher after dealing with raw meats, its probably not gonna fit in there (yes I know youre not supposed to put cutting boards in the dishwasher!). I dont cook a lot of meat, but Ill make sure this is just a fruit and veggie board so I dont get anxiety about it.Overall, this seems like a very sturdy cutting board that will last a long time. I have thinner, smaller, bamboo cutting boards that have lasted for years, so Im happy to have a larger one now!

Now THIS is a cutting board!When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by how big it is, but even though it is quite large, it has easily found a home in my kitchen. I can either prop it up along the side of the counter or leave it lying there since I'll inevitably use it for something every day, though if you have a small kitchen, you may consider sliding it behind canisters or some such, as it will not readily fit in a drawer.This puppy is also extremely sturdy and is thinly sealed, so even though you'll leave a few marks on it from time to time, it won't be a problem. The reservoir all around the edge is nice for catching water and juices, keeping it from creating a mess on the counter or floor by the time you're done slicing, dicing, and julienning.Best of all, it's easy to clean when you're done. Just remember to pat it dry before putting it away so you'll have this big and sturdy beast for the long haul. And it's so pretty too. I absolutely love it!
