Warning...if you plan to take this internally, it has a VERY pronounced flavor...not necessarily bad just quite strong. I tried this for a while and couldn't get past the flavor for internal use so switched to using it on my skin. It does have a pleasant effect on the skin. The Black Seed Oil seemed to diminish my blemishes (sun spots) and did not cause any deleterious effects (I have VERY sensitive skin).
The Gourmanity - Ethiopian Black Seed Oil arrived in a dark glass bottle with a safety sealed child proof cap. I had a bit of trouble getting the cap off the bottle, but it eventually came off and was not damaged. This is my first time to try black seed oil, and it definitely has a strong taste with a spicy flavor that is something you have to get used to. I read a little about some of the benefits of this oil such as aids in weight loss, improves skin (like acne or eczema) and hair, and much more. You can apply it topically or ingest it. I am really looking forward to using this oil and seeing some of the benefits.
Giving this product a high rating for many levels. My first order arrived damaged and leaking. The customer service was top notched and after I returned the damaged product, I immediately received an undamaged product the next day.The bottle is a good size and I use the oil to mix in my lotions. I am using this product to add more moisture into my skin, hair, and nails. I would say that it has made a significant difference when I've added it to my lotion and my skin feels nourished and maintains moisture for longer than with using lotion by itself.The bottle is easy to open, but i am ambivalent about the lack of buffer on the opening. Otherwise, it is very easy to pour.I think this is a good product and it is also a good value and I fully appreciate this company for its good customer service.
This is a 200ml (6.76oz) bottle of 100% Ethiopian, cold-pressed black seed oil packaged in amber glass to preserve the integrity and efficacy of the oil. I primarily use this as a component in homemade moisturizers, but you can also ingest this directly. The high levels of Omega 6 and 9 make this excellent for balancing and moisturizing your skin, improving your skin barrier, and providing a low level of UV protection (not a replacement for sunscreen!).The bottle was well packaged for delivery, and the design of the safety cap makes it easy to grip and remove.
