We use garlic in most meals, this is a convenient way to do it in anything that has liquid. It does take a few minutes to soften up, works better if your liquid is hot, but when you don't have fresh garlic or feel like messing with a garlic press, this stuff is a huge help.

dried minced garlic

I use garlic and a lot of dishes, this is fresh and very handy to have, and cheaper for me to buy in bulk. it is a bit powdery I'm sure from shipping etc but it's just garlic so it all tastes the same and the flavor is good.
