I was initially skeptical given the low price but upon cracking a few peppercorns I was pleased to find my misgivings were unfounded. In addition to having a good ratio of all four varieties, the peppercorns pack a nice zest and have a nice oily sheen instead of being dried out. I find I also don't have to hold back with the grinder given the affordable price and knowing I have a full pound of this versatile spice.
