Very fine powder and not at all gritty, blends easily with my frother into my morning protein coffee and it tastes great! I also use it for putting in kitten food for more fiber in their diet.

I ordered the 1pound zip bag of powder. Purchased primarily for baking because it seems that the availability of canned pumpkin has gone down dramatically. Used to be able to find it year round. I tried it 1st in my coffee this morning, dissolves nicely and has a smooth textureflavor. The value is 0 .906oz , so you need to compare with other powders for cost values. The ratio is approx. 14C powder 1C rehydrated pumpking puree. Yo I may need to adjust to the condistancy you like. So this 1lb bag is approx. 3.5 cups of powder approx. 14 cups(8oz) of pumpkin. 1 can is 15 oz, so this bag would be about 7.5 cans of pumpkin. Of course you need to compare the cost to the brand that you normally buy.
