I'll be honest, I'm not well versed in the flavor and authentication of truffles and this is my first experience using truffles at home. I've had many restaurant dishes that were superb so I wanted to re-create them. Expensive, sure....is it a good value, well..... I'm not sure but the jar will not go to waste. I'm quite happy with my purchase, I like the flavor, I cook for my small family and they seem to like it too. The packaging was great and had many layers of bubble wrap. No leaking. They are in a brine so I cannot comment truly on freshness but they are thin sliced and hold up well in a dish.
Tasted amazing when my wife and I made our first anniversary dinner. It was a great addition for our celebration.
I bought this as a one of the gifts I wanted to add to a care package for a friend so the small size was actually a plus for me - however, this thing does pack a flavor punch! My friend loved it so much that I got one for myself as well and boy, is this delicious! I add it to toast, i have put this on eggs, sometimes even tossed a bit on a homemade alfredo pasta and it is incredible. I'm relieved it costs what it does because then I get to be careful with how much of this i wolf down :D

The product is very tasty & very enjoyable. If you never had truffles before its a great experience. If you love mushrooms in general you will really love truffles!!!Had some issues with my first experience & actually went bad two times, luck of the draw I guess. The seller even though thw mistakes where out of their cintrol, 100% took responsibility & fixed the mistakes promptly as any business should. A lot of other business could learn a lot from good sellers like this!!Highly recommend giving them a try well worth it to me!
